What is Tech Deal Sniper?
Tech Deal Sniper is an automated service that monitors online tech retailers (like MediaMarkt and Megekko) for undervalued products. We score each listing on a 0–100 scale and alert you when a deal matches your criteria.
How does the deal scoring work?
Each listing is scored based on 6 factors: price advantage vs. market value (40%), urgency keywords (20%), freshness (15%), data completeness (10%), rarity (10%), and original discount (5%). Scores above 80 indicate excellent deals.
Which stores do you monitor?
We currently monitor MediaMarkt.nl and Megekko.nl. We're working on adding more stores in the future.
How often are listings updated?
Our scrapers run every 15–30 minutes, so new listings are detected and scored within minutes of appearing.
💳 Plans & Pricing
What is included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes access to the deal feed, basic deal scoring, up to 3 email alerts per day (with a 30-minute delay), and up to 3 custom filters.
What does the Pro plan include?
The Pro plan (€9.99/month) gives you instant email alerts (under 5 seconds), unlimited alerts per day, unlimited custom filters, and advanced spec-based filtering (RAM, GPU, storage, etc.).
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes! You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Billing page. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe, our secure payment processor. iDEAL and other local methods may also be available depending on your region.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. However, under EU law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for new subscriptions. See our Right of Withdrawal page for details.
🔔 Alerts & Filters
How do alerts work?
When a new listing matches one of your filters and meets your minimum score threshold, we send you an email alert. Pro users receive alerts instantly; Free users receive them with a 30-minute delay.
What can I filter on?
You can filter by category, brand, price range, minimum deal score, minimum profit, and keywords. Pro users can also filter by hardware specs like RAM, GPU, and storage size.
Why didn't I get an alert?
Common reasons: you've reached your daily alert limit (Free plan: 3/day), the listing didn't match your filters, the deal score was below your minimum threshold, or email delivery was delayed. Check your spam folder as well.
👤 Account & Data
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@techdealsniper.com and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days, as required by GDPR.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use Stripe for payment processing. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification.
